The kids were so excited to sprinkle the reindeer food in the yard, leave the key on the door for Santa to come in, set the cookies and milk out, and then read the real story of Christmas before heading off to sleep! They could hardly settle down for bed and Elizabeth decided at the last minute to come and see if Santa had come early! And, in fact, he had! He was very good this year and brought the kids everything they wanted! Christmas Day was spent celebrating the real reason for the day at church and then spending time with family before shooting fireworks and singing Happy Birthday to our Savior! What a wonderful time of year!
