Last weekend, we went to the mountains with Nanny and Poppie to celebrate our anniversary. We had a wonderful time! We enjoyed roasting marshmallows, collecting sticks with Nanny, riding the skylift, shopping in Cherokee, eating a picnic by the river, throwing the football and hickory nuts with Poppie, and going to see the elk..or lack, thereof. :) The mountain house was a perfect place to kick our shoes off and simply relax and we all had the best time taking it all in!
